Hello my name is Wendy McLaughlin.   I paint in several media including but not limited to acrylic, pastel and watercolor.  I specialize in painting local beach and farm scenes, but paint other subject matter and accept commissioned work.  I am self taught and enjoy furthering my skills through local art  classes and as I study my style continues to evolve.   Several of my paintings are displayed in private collections, the homes of family, friends, patrons and public buildings.  I also do photography and offer affordable and quality re-prints of any of my work. I have received international recognitions for my art from the Camel Back Gallery, Scottsdale, AZ and have been selected and published in two  art magazines, “World Wide Art” published by Artavita and Spotlight Comtemporary Art magazine, published by Circle Foundation For The Arts.  I also received a finalist “International Achievement Award” for my acrylic painting of Moriches Yacht Club Sailboat Race.   I have been a featured artist on the cover of Dan's Papers in July and December of 2022, (a lifestyle paper for the Hamptons and Montauk, Long Island.) In November 2022 my painting of Baha's Farm Stand was selected for a juried exhibit at East End Arts, Riverhead NY.   I am honored to have been invited to exhibit my art at the Westhampton Beach, New York Performing Arts Center Gallery for the months of July and August 2023.   I welcome you to browse my Gallery and hope you enjoy what you see.
